After stumbling across a mysterious fox-like creature that leaves behind a mysterious token, Billy unknowingly brings home the key to another world. Later that night, as he drifts off to sleep, the token suddenly begins floating above his bed before pulling him deep into the Dreamscape, a surreal ninja realm shaped by powerful elemental worlds, hidden scrolls, mysterious tokens, and secret paths waiting to be discovered.

Lost inside this strange new reality, Billy encounters the fox once again, now known as Miso, a mysterious Kitsune who runs a ramen shop deep within the Forest Realm. With cryptic advice and a suspicious amount of knowledge about the Dreamscape, Miso guides Billy through this bizarre world as he learns to master the katana, ninja stars, and enchanted fan in hopes of finding his way back home. But the deeper Billy travels into the Dreamscape, the more he begins to realize that not everything is quite what it seems.
